Singapore remains the preferred bunkering destination of many of the world’s shipping companies. Since the 2009, the amount of bunkers exchanging hands in the Port of Singapore has grown from 36.4 million Metric Tonnes to 43.1 million Metric Tonnes in 2011, an average yearly increase of 5.79%.
